Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate.

In order to accommodate singles from all over the world, our tours and cruises are priced as land/cruise only. Therefore, airfare is additional. Singles Travel International is a licensed ticketing agency and oftentimes has low negotiated fares.

The least expensive way to get from the Vancouver airport to downtown Vancouver is the SkyTrain. Take the Canada Line Waterfront Line to Vancouver City Center stop. Then you will have to walk approximately 10 minutes to our hotel. One way will cost approximately $3.

Taxis: Only licensed taxi cabs are allowed to operate in Vancouver Airport, and the trip will take about 20 minutes to downtown Vancouver. The fare to our hotel will be approximately $35 CAD ($28 USD).

Uber and Lyft also run at the airport.

Post your flight arrival info on the Singles Travel International chat for this tour, and you may find another guest on your same flights!

Our tour does not include your international airfare, meals not included in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages (except when included in Singles Travel International events), incidentals such as laundry and phone calls, plus gratuities to Singles Travel International staff ($15 per day) and bus drivers (approximately $3-$5/day total).

Absolutely. Our site is so popular that we guarantee to find a roommate for you or the single room is on us! In order to take advantage of our offer, you must be paid in full by January 4, 2022. Guarantees are based on the lowest priced category room. Upgrades are charged the full single rate less the lowest share credit if no equal match is found.

Even after the cut-off date, we get so many calls that finding a roommate is easy. So please let us know if you are interested when making your booking.

Assessments are made at final payment date: January 4, 2022.

Roommate matches are based on the same sex, general age range and smoking preference whenever possible, but not guaranteed. Singles Travel International reserves the right to make any match up until day of departure, including roommate changes once the tour has begun for members who select the Share & Save option.

We highly recommend that our guests contact their roommates in advance. Booked members have access to our private online chat. Meet your roommate as well as the other members on your vacation. Singles Travel International makes every effort to accommodate requests, but does not guarantee the satisfaction or success of a roommate match. It’s the responsibility of the guest to contact his/her roommate and ask the appropriate questions.

Optional pre and post cruise/tour stays are not eligible for the roommate match guarantee. Chances are excellent that we’ll find you a match, but if no match found by 30 days prior to departure, member pays the single supplement.

May can be one of the most pleasant months of the year in Vancouver. The days are long, the weather is getting warmer (average daytime temperatures high 50s to low 60s) and the sun shines more often not. In Banff, Lake Louise will likely still be covered in ice, and wildlife viewing is at its peak (average daytime temps mid-50s)! If we’re lucky, we’ll also have a chance to see the Aurora Borealis! In Calgary, expect daytime temps in the low 60s.

Currently, most international airlines will allow you to check one bag, weighing 50 pounds each, for free. In addition you may carry-on one bag plus a personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the minute regulations and fees for checked baggage.

Think COMFORT! We will be outside and often on rugged terrain, so dress accordingly: Layers, sturdy walking or hiking shoes for when we’re in the National Parks. While we’re in the cities, casual and comfortable. Rain could be possible, so please bring a rain coat and umbrella.

Packing Tips: Take only what you need; don’t over pack.  Save room for souvenirs and purchases. Pack flat and full to avoid wrinkling. Bring wardrobe basics; mix and match around one or two colors. Don’t pack anything valuable, fragile or perishable. Label your luggage with an outside tag, and place an identification card inside each suitcase. Definitely pack for layering, since we will be traversing various climate zones.

What Our Members Are Saying

Just returned home after a WONDERFUL Rockin', Romantic Rhine Cruise with STI. It was a very different experience from a large cruise ship, as it had about 140 passengers. I got to meet many people from STI and others from outside the group. Terrific experience! Each day, we had excursions, included in the tour. We really got to see the cities where we stopped. The local color was amazing. It was quite an experience to see castles, windows, Gutenberg Bibles up close and personal. Plenty of time to shop or just walk around.  The food was wonderful. With breakfast, we could have sparkling wine or mimosas. With dinner, the wine and beer were flowing freely. My favorite two optional excursions were a German Dinner (not to miss) and a trip to a functioning windmill, where we went right inside to see how it works. While cruising, we experienced going thru canal locks. In the mid portion of the Rhine, we saw castle after castle and vineyards, vineyards, vineyards. I highly recommend this trip. Heaven for photography. It is an experience of a lifetime!

The Rockin Rhine River Cruise was one of the best vacations I have ever had. Our group kept things lively and there was always someone that was around to do things like shopping or tours....or just to sit around in a Biergarten and relax with a glass of local wine or beer.
