PASSPORT MANDATORY A passport is required for US citizens. Be sure to confirm that your passport is current and will be valid at least six months after your return date. If you do not have one or need a new one, contact the State Department Passport Office in your area immediately, or visit their website.

Non US Citizens are responsible for verifying their own required documentation for this tour.

FLIGHT & PASSPORT INFO Two months prior to your vacation, you’ll receive an email with a link to upload your passport information and how to create your Regent Seven Seas account.

INSURANCE Although travel insurance isn’t mandatory, we highly recommend it. In addition to direct access immediately upon completing your purchase, you will receive a quote from Travel Guard regarding travel insurance after reserving your vacation. (Please see FAQ on Travel Insurance.)

The trip begins with one night in Barcelona on November 2, 2024, and the cruise ends at the port of Miami, November 17, 2024. Therefore the trip is 15 nights/16 days.

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) recommends updating all routine booster shots for travel almost anywhere. Please schedule a physical check-up, before your trip, to discuss the type of trip in which you are participating with your physician.

A deposit is due at time of reservation, and final payment is due on June 19, 2024.

Yes, All cancellations must be made in writing to Singles Travel International at service@singlestravelintl.com and are subject to per person penalties as follows:

After deposit and at any time of cancellation, refunds may be requested less a minimum charge of $250 in addition to other penalties listed below.

* From June 19, 2024, up to the day of cruising, any cancellations or “no-shows” – 100% penalty.

Cancellations made prior to June 19, 2024, final payment may request a Future Trip Credit and the $250 minimum cancellation fee will be waived. The Future Trip Credit may be used toward any future Singles Travel International vacation within 1 year of cancellation, for travel at any time. No refunds will be given on any unused portions of the trip.

Singles Travel International includes a fun-filled night at at the 5-Star,Grand Hyatt Barcelona (November 2-3, 2024), which allows our members to get a head start on socializing and ensures that you won’t miss the boat!

Transfer on your own from the Barcelona Airport and upon arrival at the hotel, you’ll be greeted by out friendly, professional Concierge.  Your Singles Travel International Concierge will host a Singles-Only Meet-and-Greet and optional dinner on November 2.

Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. We do not allow guests to join the group unless the reservation has been made by Singles Travel International. Our policy is firm for tours and cruises, as well as pre and post trip hotel stays. Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate.

Your airport transfers are not included in our package and we recommend taking a taxi for approximately $40 in both Barcelona and Miami. 

In order to accommodate singles from all over the world, our tours and cruises are priced as land/cruise only. Therefore, airfare is additional. Singles Travel International is a licensed ticketing agency and oftentimes has low negotiated fares.

Of course not. You will be pleased to find out that nearly 90% of our guests on every cruise sign up and have never met anyone before joining the group. In 30 years, we have perfected the singles cruise experience. It is paramount that our guests meet each other right away and have opportunities to mingle every day.

From the moment you arrive at the pre cruise hotel, our Singles Travel International Concierge is waiting to meet you at our Hospitality Desk or Welcome Event. 

Our “Baby Boomer” vacations cater to singles in their 50s and 60s but you will often meet singles ranging anywhere from 45-75. We generally have a ratio of 60/40, women to men. As a travel club, matchmaking is not our focus. Ages listed on our page are not restricted. They are simply used as a guideline. All meals are served in one of the gourmet restaurants located on the Seven Seas Mariner™.  Your Singles Travel International Concierge will provide a program for our entire journey listing times and locations for all of our singles only dining experiences.

Singles Travel International hosts the Breakfast Club each morning and we’ll make dining reservations at convenient times for the entire group to dine together or in smaller groups as requested.

All dining requests are confirmed once onboard, not in advance and are at the discretion of the cruise line.

There are several a la carte and themed restaurants which are also included in your cruise package. Your Singles Travel International Concierge will assist with making your reservations at all times so that you may enjoy these restaurants in the company of other singles once onboard the ship.

Yes, there are hairdryers in each cabin. Electrical current is 110, which is the US standard. If sharing a cabin, we recommend bringing along a power strip so that you both may recharge phones, cameras and add additional items such as a curling iron.

A passport is required for travel to Europe & Bermuda. Be sure to confirm that your passport is current and will be valid at least six months after your return date. If you do not have one or need a new one, contact the State Department Passport Office in your area immediately or visit their website.

Non US Citizens are responsible for verifying their own required documentation for this tour.

We recommend that you also make copies of your passport, driver’s license, photo identification card and/or birth certificate in case of loss, and carry them with you on your trip separate from your passport.

There is no baggage limit onboard ship.

Currently, most international airlines will allow you to check 1 bag weighing up to 50 pounds for no fee. In addition you may carry-on one bag plus a personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the-minute regulations and fees for checked baggage once you receive our air schedule from us approximately 75 days prior to our cruise departure.

Cruising aboard Regent Seven Seas is not too dressy, not too casual. We call it “resort casual”; you’ll call it being on holiday. When you’re ready for dinner, it’s collared shirts and pants or nice jeans for men. Slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops are perfect for women. If you want to dress up and add a little glamour when you dine out, go for it. Singles Travel International members generally add a little class to any venue!

Swimwear, T-shirts and shorts are not allowed in restaurants after 5:30 pm. An exception will be made with respect to shorts in the buffet and outdoor restaurants. Presentable jeans may be worn in restaurants in the evenings with the exception of a designated “dress up” restaurant. Daytime wear is casual and comfortable for touring/ shopping/ swimming.

Evenings aboard the ship are sometimes cool due to the air conditioning, so a coverup is essential if you tend to get cold easily.

Packing Tips: Take only what you need; don’t over pack. Save room for souvenirs and purchases. Pack flat and full to avoid wrinkling. Bring wardrobe basics; mix and match around one or two colors. Don’t pack anything valuable, fragile or perishable. Label your luggage with an outside tag, and place an identification card inside each suitcase.

Essential Items: We highly recommend that you bring the following items.

– A happy-go-lucky attitude
– A good, comfortable pair of broken-in walking shoes.
– A pair of shoes for restaurants (loafers, sandals, etc).
– Slacks, shorts and tops and keep dressing in layers in mind
– Collapsible umbrella (which can double as a sunshade parasol) and/or lightweight raingear.
– Ladies will want to bring a nicer warm wrap, and gentlemen a nicer jacket, for evening wear.
– Sunglasses, sun block, sun hat or visor.
– Toiletries: all your daily essentials.
– Prescription medications: sufficient supply for the entire trip plus legible written prescription in case of loss. Keep medications in their original, labeled container. Always pack your medications in your carry-on bag!
– Eyeglasses, contacts, contact lens solution. You may want to bring along a written prescription for your eyewear in case of loss.
– Over the counter medications: cold remedy, aspirin/pain reliever, antacid/stomach upset remedy, Band-Aids, money or other anti-bacterial medication.
– Travel alarm clock with illuminated face, especially for guests in an inside cabin.
– Travel journal/notepad and reading material.
– Small, basic sewing kit with a few extra buttons. Remember to pack scissors in your checked bag!
– Photography Equipment
– Power strip to charge more than one item at a time. Only 1 US outlet in your cabin.
– Alternate outlet on the ship and in our hotel in Sydney is different than our US outlets, so bring an adapter/converter.

Travel Insurance is not mandatory, but, based on our experience, we highly recommend it. In addition to direct access immediately upon completing your purchase, you will receive a quote from Travel Guard regarding travel insurance after reserving your vacation.

When selecting a travel insurance policy, we recommend that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency evacuation and repatriation. We also strongly recommend that the policy cover personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

The Euro is the official currency of Europe. USD is accepted in Bermuda.

Onboard the ship, your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the ship, as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which can be paid with cash or charged to a credit card. If you are sharing with another guest, no worries. You will each receive a separate statement which may be reviewed at any time on your interactive TV in the cabin.

Some credit card companies may charge small international transaction fees, so it’s best to check with your provider before leaving home.

All countries you will visit have laws against the purchase and export of certain items, including antiquities, national cultural property and certain animal products, especially endangered species (ivory, rhino horn, tortoise shell, coral, feathers, etc.). Additionally, the United States has laws prohibiting the import of certain items, which include many of the same things. You face having your purchase confiscated and/or heavy fines for exporting or importing prohibited items.

On return to the U.S., your baggage is subject to search by U.S. Customs. Currently, you are permitted to bring back $800 of goods duty free. Persons aged 21 or over may also bring in one liter of liquor and one carton of cigarettes. If you plan to purchase a lot of souvenirs or expensive items, it is important to retain all purchase receipts. However, please note that U.S. Customs may not accept a receipt as true cost if it seems unusually low for the estimated value of the item.
