About Wine Lover’s Singles Cruise on the Moselle River
Join Singles Travel International for autumn and wine harvest season in Luxembourg and Germany on this European river cruise!
Last year we enjoyed a Wine Lover’s French River Cruise and it’s time to savor the delicious wines of Germany. Our fall program takes advantage of harvest season on one of the most verdant regions for wine making in the world! We begin with an experience in Luxembourg, one of the smallest nations in the world, followed by an exciting river cruise on the Moselle River with Singles Travel International! This is a festive time of year in Central Europe, and an experience you won’t want to miss! Luxembourg City offers unique and dramatic views, as the town is set on two levels—high above on straddling hills and dropping into two river valleys.
We’ll board the Avalon Imagery II, a Suite Ship™, in Remich, Luxembourg, on the beautiful Moselle River and will visit several fascinating ports along the way to Frankfurt, Germany. Enjoy a guided walk in the charming wine village of Bernkastel and taste some of the region’s best wines. Continue to the picturesque town of Cochem where the Riesling grape is cultivated. Visit Reichsburg Castle, nestled among vineyards and offering breathtaking views of the town and river valley below. Next stop is ancient Koblenz, where we can enjoy a guided walk or visit a local brewery or adventure on a kayak excursion. Sail into the Rhine River to the quintessential Rhine valley town of Rüdesheim. Here visit the amazing Mechanical Musical Instruments Museum, and enjoy a stroll through the town’s famous cobblestone Drosselgasse lined with shops, restaurants, and lively taverns. Our river cruise vacation ends in Frankfurt, where we may join a guided sightseeing tour of the city, or visit the Frankenstein castle, or take a bike tour along the riverbanks of the Main and Nidda Rivers.
“We strongly encourage all our members to check the latest travel recommendations by the US State Department, CDC and air carriers to review the latest information for travel risks in order to make an informed decision about their travel safety. See our FAQ section for more.”

Absolutely. Our site is so popular that we guarantee to find a roommate for you or the single cabin is on us! In order to take advantage of our offer, you must be paid in full by May 14, 2022. Guarantees are based on the lowest priced category. Upgrades are charged the full single rate less the lowest share credit if no equal match is found.
Of course, single cabins are available at an additional rate assessed by Avalon. Even after the cut-off date, we get so many calls that finding a roommate is easy. So please let us know if you are interested when making your booking.
Our guarantee is based on the lowest, inside cabin share rate. You may also opt to take your own cabin at that time for the single cabin rate. Assessments are made at final payment date: May 14, 2022.

Weather this time of year in Central Europe is starting to get chillier. Expect average highs in the mid-60s and average lows in the mid-40s.

ATM machines are usually conveniently located in large cities, but are limited in smaller towns and rural areas.
Credit Cards: Your credit card will be accepted to settle your incidentals bill at all hotels and in major shops, restaurants and aboard the Imagery II.
Although traveler’s insurance isn’t mandatory, we highly recommend protecting your trip.
