Join Singles Travel International’s President, Tammy Weiler, for a Tahitian experience you’ll never forget and that will leave your friends green with envy! Explore the dynamic dining, nightlife, and shopping before we embark on the MS Paul Gauguin to explore the stunning Islands of French Polynesia. Our first port of call, Huahine, is best known as the “Garden Island” for its dramatic terrain and lush rainforests. Join new friends and cruise the expansive lagoon, explore the island’s culture, or throw a picnic on the beach before we set off for the private island of Motu Mahana. Opt to join an exciting excursion or spend the whole day relaxing, with a chilled beverage, on the soft, white sand beach.  A delicious barbecue lunch is provided while we enjoy entertainment from our own troupe of Tahitian hosts.

Our next stop is immediately recognizable by Mount Otemanu rising from the ocean, this half-atoll, half-mountain is surrounded by a spectacular lagoon and a series of smaller islands. Welcome to Bora Bora! From here, visit Matira Public Beach, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in all of the French Polynesia, or, explore the Marine Museum where we will see ancient canoes, tuna fishing boats and models of legendary ships. Head to the lagoon and swim with the reef sharks or stingrays or have a bite at the famous Bloody Mary’s Restaurant with incredible views of the island. As we cruise on to Moorea, notice the vibrant colors in everything from fresh fruits and flowers to multi-hued lagoons, from spectacular mountain peaks to palm-fringed beaches. Animal lovers should join an optional dolphin watching expedition with a marine biologist! Invite fellow singles to taste various fruit juices, liquors and brandies at the Moorea Juice Factory, or admire the exotic flora at the Tropical Garden. Shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs before we head back to the ship for another evening of delicious dining and exciting entertainment onboard. As we arrive back in Papeete, we are welcomed with emerald hillsides, sapphire waters, and warm breezes.

Our cruise ends with brunch on board before we pack up and hop in our transfer for our last tour through Papeete. Our afternoon/evening will be spent at a local resort until it is time to say goodbye to Paradise and transfer to the airport for our overnight flight back to Los Angeles.

Although STI is committed to keeping our members informed regarding the current status of our partner-vendor policies, you are ultimately responsible for your health and well-being when making travel decisions. We  strongly encourage all our members to check the latest travel recommendations by the US State Department, CDC, World Health Organization (WHO) and air carriers to review the latest information for travel risks so they make informed decision about their travel safety.

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) recommends updating all routine booster shots for travel almost anywhere. Please schedule a physical check-up, before your trip, to discuss the type of trip in which you are participating with your physician.

You and your physician may access much more, very detailed health information for travelers (including tips on staying healthy while traveling) on the CDC website. Click their “Traveler’s Health” link or call toll-free 24-hours at 1-800-CDC-INFO (800-232-4636)

Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. We do not allow guests to join the group unless the reservation has been made by STI. Our policy is firm for tours and cruises, as well as pre and post trip hotel stays. Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate.

Yes! Singles Travel International is the only singles vacation company that features a travel community where members may send messages to one another at any time. Once you make a reservation, you are invited to post messages on the trip chat, which is great for finding out more about your fellow travel companions, coordinating taxi shares, setting up tours and more. Your trip chat is accessible from the trip page. Ask your STI Reservation Guide for assistance.

Our program includes live, online connections with your travel companions before you depart and RSVP for each event is available on our sister community www.SingleLife.Today.  Be sure to register today so that you don’t miss out on anything!

A deposit is due at time of reservation, and final payment is due on October 20, 2021.

We’ve made paying your balance online as easy as 1-2-3! You’ll be able to see your balance directly within your STI profile. Under the shopping cart icon, choose “Reservations and Payments” from the drop down to view your dashboard. To see how to use this NEW reservation and payment feature, watch this quick VIDEO. You may also call us at 877-765-6874 ext. 4 and provide us with your preferred payment information.
NOTE: We are aware that, due to our 2020 migration to a new accounting system and also due to the migration of reservations from 2021 to 2022, reservations made prior to May 2020 may not be reflecting the correct final balance owed on your Reservations and Payments dashboard. Just give us call at 877-765-6874 ext. 4 to speak with someone on our Accounting team.

If you make a reservation after October 20, 2021, full payment will be automatically charged at time of reservation and penalties will apply.

Yes. All cancellations must be made in writing to Singles Travel International (submit to service@singlestravelintl.com) and are subject to the following terms:

*NO RISK DEPOSIT! A full refund will be given for any cancellations made prior to October 20, 2021, less a $275 administration fee.

*After October 20, 2021 – any cancellations or “no-shows” – 100% penalty.

Allow 30 days for a refund as suggested by our vendor and subject to change at any time. All refunds will be made via company check.

** If you were transferred to this cruise from the 2021 departure, then your vacation is in full penalty and no refund for cancellation at any time.

Note that if you elect to take a roommate and he/she cancels after our cut off date, we will do everything to find a new match. However, if no match is found, the difference in cost for a single cabin/room is the responsibility of the guest who cancels. No refund will be given to the guest who cancels, regardless of cruise or tour company policy as stated above. Singles Travel International is not responsible for costs related to cancellations after our cut-off date.

We have included roundtrip airfare between Los Angeles (LAX) and Papeete (PPT) only. Therefore, airfare to and from Los Angeles from your home airport is additional. Singles Travel International is a licensed ticketing agency and oftentimes has low negotiated fares.

Please schedule your flight to arrive in Los Angeles before 12:00 p.m. on February 17, 2022, and depart after 1:00 p.m. from Los Angeles on February 27, 2022 (included return flight from Papeete is currently scheduled to arrive at 7:15 AM on February 27).

Note: Our return flight from Papeete is currently scheduled to depart at 9:30 PM (subject to change) on February 26 and arrives in Los Angeles at 7:15 AM on February 27, so the actual length of the trip is 10 nights/11 days (last night on airplane).

You are responsible for shore tours, casino gambling, shopping and gratuities to Singles Travel International Concierge ($15 per day). Cabin incidentals such as laundry, phone calls and internet access are also at an additional cost and all items will appear on your final billing statement at the end of the cruise. You may also be charged a delivery fee, imposed by our vendors for special delivery of documents including international and expedited documents.

Absolutely. Our site is so popular that we guarantee to find a roommate for you or the single cabin is on us! In order to take advantage of our offer, you must be paid in full by October 20, 2021. Guarantees are based on the lowest priced category. Upgrades are charged the full single rate less the lowest share credit if no equal match is found.

Of course, single cabins are available at an additional rate assessed by Paul Gauguin. Even after the cut-off date, we get so many calls that finding a roommate is easy. So please let us know if you are interested when making your booking.

Our guarantee is based on the lowest, inside cabin share rate. If you opt for a higher category and we are unable to match in that category, you are responsible for the difference to move a member into your cabin to make a match. You may also opt to take your own cabin at that time for the single cabin rate. Assessments are made at final payment date: October 20, 2021.

Roommate matches are based on the same sex, general age range and smoking preference whenever possible, but not guaranteed. STI reserves the right to make any match up until day of cruising, including roommate changes once onboard for members who select the Share & Save option.

We highly recommend that our guests contact their roommates in advance. Booked members have access to our private online chat. Meet your roommate as well as the other members on your vacation. Singles Travel International makes every effort to accommodate requests, but does not guarantee the satisfaction or success of a roommate match. It’s the responsibility of the guest to contact his/her roommate and ask the appropriate questions.

Optional pre and post cruise/tour stays are not eligible for the roommate match guarantee. Chances are excellent that we’ll find you a match, but if no match found by 30 days prior to departure, member pays the single supplement.

Read more about Roommate Matching on our Frequently Asked Questions found at the Help Center.

Please contact your preferred carrier directly to make your reservation. If Singles Travel International issues a promotional economy fare, granting of frequent flyer credit is entirely at the airline’s discretion. If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. You may need to submit these to the airline (not to Singles Travel International) to claim any credit allowed.

Embarkation begins at 3:00 PM on February 19, 2022. Our transportation from the hotel to the ship is included in our package. We will arrive early in order to take advantage of getting to know the ship!

Of course not. You will be pleased to find out that nearly 90% of our guests on every cruise sign up and have never met anyone before joining the group. In 28 years, we have perfected the singles cruise experience. It is paramount that our guests meet each other right away and have opportunities to mingle every day. From the moment you board the ship, our STI Concierge is waiting to meet you at our Welcome Aboard Get Together. Our first evening begins with a private welcome-aboard cocktail party followed by daily activities both onboard the ship as well as in each port. We dine together each evening in an open seating arrangement so that you have a chance to meet as many people as possible.

Our “Baby Boomer” vacations cater to singles in their 50s and 60s but you will often meet singles ranging anywhere from 45-75. We generally have a ratio of 60/40, women to men. As a travel club, matchmaking is not our focus. Ages listed on our page are not restricted. They are simply used as a guideline. We offer an opportunity for single travelers to see the world in the company of other singles and do not guarantee ratios or ages.

We recommend that you meet the members of the STI Community online where you may view and interact with members via “Who’s Going” on every trip page. This is the best way to find out exactly who will be on your vacation.

Yes, there are hairdryers in each cabin. The standard electrical voltage aboard ship is 220 volts. Both 220-volt and 110-volt outlets are available in bathrooms and staterooms. If sharing a cabin, we recommend bringing along a power strip so that you both may recharge phones, cameras and add additional items such as a curling iron.

The weather in Tahiti and the Society Islands is Paradise year round! Expect temperatures in the low 70s to mid 80s. Showers are always possible but typically only last 15-30 minutes before it clears up again. A light jacket will be necessary in the evenings, as it may get a little chilly.

There is no baggage limit onboard ship.

Currently, most airlines will allow you to check one bag, weighing 50 pounds each, for a fee. In addition you may carry-on one bag plus a personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the minute regulations and fees for checked baggage.

Country Club Casual, or elegant resort wear, is appropriate dress for all evenings aboard The MS Paul Gauguin. Country Club Casual consists of a dress, or skirt or slacks with a blouse or sweater for ladies, and slacks and collared shirts for gentleman. No ties are required at any time, although gentlemen may opt to wear a jacket to the Captain’s Welcome Reception.

Please note that casual wear such as shorts, t-shirts, casual jeans (frayed and/or with holes), baseball caps, flip-flops, and Crocs are not considered appropriate after 6:00 p.m. in all restaurants and lounges. Bathrobes and bathing suits are not appropriate in the ship’s restaurants and lounges, and shirts and shoes are required in all public areas at all times.

If you want to dress up and add a little glamour when you dine out, go for it. STI members generally add a little class to any venue!  Daytime wear is casual and comfortable for touring/shopping.

*Guests should be aware that shoes suitable for wearing in the water, whether this be reef shoes, sneakers, or old sandals, are imperative to the enjoyment and safety of participating in water-based activities. There are corals, urchins, and other marine life that can cause painful cuts and injuries that can be prevented by wearing appropriate footwear while in boats and in the water. Inexpensive plastic sandals are available in Tahiti, but few shops are open on Saturday afternoons in Papeete where they are available. The next opportunity is not until the ship reaches Bora Bora. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you bring the appropriate shoes from home for this purpose. Note that flip-flops are not suitable for this function.

Evenings aboard the ship are sometimes cool due to the air conditioning, so a cover-up is essential if you tend to get cold easily.

Packing Tips: Take only what you need; don’t over pack. Save room for souvenirs and purchases. Pack flat and full to avoid wrinkling. Bring wardrobe basics; mix and match around one or two colors. Don’t pack anything valuable, fragile or perishable. Label your luggage with an outside tag, and place an identification card inside each suitcase.

Essential Items: We highly recommend that you bring the following items.

– A diplomatic attitude.
– A good, comfortable pair of broken-in walking shoes.
– A pair of shoes for restaurants (loafers, sandals, etc).
– Slacks, shorts and tops and keep dressing in layers in mind
– Collapsible umbrella (which can double as a sunshade parasol) and/or lightweight raingear.
– Ladies will want to bring a nicer warm wrap, and gentlemen a nicer jacket, for evening wear.
– Sunglasses, sun block, sun hat or visor.
– Toiletries: all your daily essentials.
– Prescription medications: sufficient supply for the entire trip plus legible written prescription in case of loss. Keep medications in their original, labeled container. Always pack your medications in your carry-on bag!
– Eyeglasses, contacts, contact lens solution. You may want to bring along a written prescription for your eyewear in case of loss.
– Over the counter medications: cold remedy, aspirin/pain reliever, antacid/stomach upset remedy, Band-Aids, money or other anti-bacterial medication.
– Travel alarm clock with illuminated face, especially for guests in an inside cabin.
– Travel journal/notepad and reading material.
– Home address book for sending postcards. A useful tip to avoid bringing your entire address book is to pre-write names and addresses of people to whom you want to send postcards on sheets of self-adhesive labels. It saves time and space in your luggage.
– Small, basic sewing kit with a few extra buttons. Remember to pack scissors in your checked bag!
– Photography Equipment: Bring a sufficient supply of film and extra batteries.
– Power strip to charge more than one item at a time. Only 1 US outlet in your cabin.

All such charges must be paid in full by cash or accepted credit card (Visa®, Mastercard®, or American Express®).

All countries you will visit have laws against the purchase and export of certain items, including antiquities, national cultural property and certain animal products, especially endangered species (ivory, rhino horn, tortoise shell, coral, feathers, etc.). Additionally, the United States has laws prohibiting the import of certain items, which include many of the same things. You face having your purchase confiscated and/or heavy fines for exporting or importing prohibited items.

On return to the U.S., your baggage is subject to search by U.S. Customs. Currently, you are permitted to bring back $800 of goods duty free. Persons aged 21 or over may also bring in one liter of liquor and one carton of cigarettes. If you plan to purchase a lot of souvenirs or expensive items, it is important to retain all purchase receipts. However, please note that U.S. Customs may not accept a receipt as true cost if it seems unusually low for the estimated value of the item. You may access the regulations and restrictions governing US Customs on their official website, click here to learn more.

What Our Members Are Saying

I just came back from a fantastic Mediterranean vacation aboard the Norwegian Epic. STI was fantastic from the office staff to our cruise hostesses June and Georgia. I look forward to traveling with STI again in the future!

The Epic Med cruise was fantastic. It was my first trip to Europe and was a nice taste of Spain, Italy and France. The day I saw there was a cruise without a single supplement was when I signed up. Nice group and made lots of new friends. Thanks STI!
