Welcome Meet and Greet

STI Members arrive at the New Orleans International Airport and transportation from the airport to the hotel is on your own. (refer to the FAQ tab). Check into the Wyndham New Orleans (after 4 p.m.). If you arrive early, the hotel will store your bags and you are free to explore the city on your own. Admire the beauty of the historic Plantation as we explore the 38 acres of lush gardens. Our guide, dressed in period clothing, will tell stories of past owners, artifacts, artwork and furniture, as we learn how the manor became the grand estate that it is today. After our guided tour of the mansion, enjoy a buffet lunch of traditional Louisiana cuisine at one of the restaurants on the estate.

Once we arrive back at the hotel, the rest of the day and dinner is on our own, but with 90 food and beverage booths in Jackson Square, we’re sure you’ll find something to eat! There are many mouth watering options from the most basic to the most famous kitchens in NOLA. Our STI Concierge is available to assist with your plans and set up a dinner/late night meeting points for more jazz after the festival winds down. We’ve got all the local’s hangouts.

Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. We do not allow guests to join the group unless the reservation has been made by STI. Our policy is firm for tours and cruises, as well as pre and post trip hotel stays. Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate without paying an equivalent fee to the rest of the group that made the reservation with STI. Your credit card on file will automatically be charged.

Yes! Singles Travel International is the only singles vacation company that features a travel community where members may send messages to one another at any time. Once you make a reservation, you are invited to post messages on the trip chat, which is great for finding out more about your fellow travel companions, coordinating taxi shares, setting up tours and more. Your trip chat is accessible from the trip page. Ask your STI Reservation Guide for assistance.

Our program includes live, online connections with your travel companions before you depart and RSVP for each event is available on our sister community www.SingleLife.Today.  Be sure to register today so that you don’t miss out on anything!

In order to accommodate singles from all over the world, our tours and cruises are priced as land only. Therefore, airfare is additional. Singles Travel International is a licensed ticketing agency and oftentimes has low negotiated fares.

To make the most of your weekend, we recommend that you arrive by Noon on Thursday, September 30, 2021, and depart anytime on Sunday, October 3, 2021. Note that New Orleans is served by the Louis Armstrong Airport (MSY).

The least expensive transportation is the Airport Shuttle New Orleans. The shared cost is approximately $26 each way/$48 round-trip (subject to increase before final payment is made). Taxis are available outside each terminal and rates are approximately $40-$44 each way per car. Post a message on the chat and find another member to share a ride. Uber is taxed at the MSY airport and not a better deal.

Our tour does not include airfare, transfers, 1 lunch and 2 dinners. You are responsible for alcoholic beverages (except when included in STI events), incidentals such as laundry and phone calls, plus gratuities to STI staff ($15 per day) and local guides. ALL MUSIC IN THE FRENCH QUARTER IS FREE!

Absolutely. Our site is so popular that we guarantee to find a roommate for you or the single room is on us! In order to take advantage of our offer, you must be paid in full by December 2, 2020. We may still be able to match you after this date, call us for options. Of course, single accommodations are available at an additional rate.

Optional pre and post cruise/tour stays are not eligible for the roommate guarantee. Chances are excellent that we’ll find you a match, but if no match found by 30 days prior to departure, member pays the single supplement.

Please contact your preferred carrier directly to make your reservation. If Singles Travel International issues a promotional economy fare, granting of frequent flyer credit is entirely at the airline’s discretion. If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. You may need to submit these to the airline (not to Singles Travel International) to claim any credit allowed.

Of course not. You will be pleased to find out that nearly 90% of our guests on every trip sign up and have never met anyone before joining the group. In 27 years, we have perfected the singles vacation experience. It is paramount that our guests meet each other right away and have opportunities to mingle every day. From the moment you join our tour, our heroes, the STI Travel Concierge team is waiting to meet you. Our first day begins with a get together and the camaraderie builds as we go along.

As a travel club, matchmaking is not our focus. We offer an opportunity for single travelers to see the world in the company of other singles and do not guarantee ratios or ages. Our vacations are specifically designed for Baby Boomers and active travelers with an average age range of 50-70. We generally have a ratio of 60/40, women to men. Ages listed on our page are not restricted. They are simply used as a guideline.

We recommend that you meet the members of the STI Community online where you may view and interact with members via “Who’s Going” on every trip page. This is the best way to find out exactly who will be on your vacation.

We encourage our members to complete their personal profiles including a photo. Knowing who’s on the trip in advance makes socializing before and during your vacation easier and more fun.

Gorgeous! The weather is warm, sunny, and pleasant, and the fall festival season is in full swing, including art, music, film, and other events.

You may expect sunny days with daytime temperatures to be in the low 80s. Evening temperatures are generally in the high low 60s. Rain is always possible, so come prepared with rain gear and a jacket for evenings.

There is no baggage limit at the hotel.

Currently, most airlines will allow you to check one bag, weighing 40 pounds, for a fee. In addition you may carry-on one bag plus a personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the minute regulations and fees for checked baggage.

What Our Members Are Saying

I just came back from a fantastic Mediterranean vacation aboard the Norwegian Epic. STI was fantastic from the office staff to our cruise hostesses June and Georgia. I look forward to traveling with STI again in the future!

The Epic Med cruise was fantastic. It was my first trip to Europe and was a nice taste of Spain, Italy and France. The day I saw there was a cruise without a single supplement was when I signed up. Nice group and made lots of new friends. Thanks STI!
