PASSPORT MANDATORY A passport is required for US citizens and be sure to confirm that your passport is current and will be valid at least six months after your return date. If you do not have one or need a new one, contact the State Department Passport Office in your area immediately or visit their website.

Non US Citizens are responsible for verifying their own required documentation for this tour.

FLIGHT & PASSPORT INFO Two months prior to your vacation, you’ll receive an email with a link to upload your flight and passport information. This is important for us to be able to schedule your optional transfers. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE FOR THIS TRIP IS MANDATORY PER CELESTYAL: At the time of publication, Celestyal Cruises was mandating that each passenger have travel insurance. As soon as you make a reservation with us, you’ll receive a quote from Travel Guard regarding travel insurance.

All passengers are required to have a travel insurance policy valid for the duration of the cruise. In addition to regular medical cover, this insurance should cover all costs related to Covid-19 sickness including, but not limited to, treatment ashore and repatriation. We also strongly recommend that the policy cover personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

Because many of our destinations have vaccination requirements for indoor experiences (museums, restaurants, attractions, etc.), all Singles Travel International tour guests must be fully vaccinated and carry proof of vaccination with them to show as needed for upcoming departures.

Other requirements, such as negative COVID-19 tests before and during the cruise, may be required.  Your knowledgeable team at Singles Travel International will keep you up to date with plenty of time to prepare.

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) recommends updating all routine booster shots for travel almost anywhere. Please schedule a physical check-up, before your trip, to discuss the type of trip in which you are participating with your physician.

The trip begins with one night in a hotel in Athens, Greece, on July 15, 2022, and ends at the Port of Athens on July 23, 2022. Therefore the trip is 9 nights/10 days.

A deposit is due at time of reservation, and final payment is due on March 2, 2022.

If you make a reservation after March 2, 2022, full payment will be automatically charged at time of reservation and penalties will apply.

After deposit and at any time of cancellation prior to March 2, 2022, your deposit of $600 is refundable minus a $75 future trip credit with Singles Travel International vacation.

All cancellations must be made in writing to Singles Travel International and are subject to per-person penalties as follows unless the cruise is cancelled by the cruise line.*

– After March 2, 2022, any cancellations or “no-shows” – 100% penalty.

Note that if you elect to take a roommate and he/she cancels after our cut off date, we will do everything to find a new match. However, if no match is found, the difference in cost for a single cabin/room is the responsibility of the guest who cancels. No refund will be given to the guest who cancels, regardless of cruise or tour company policy as stated above. Singles Travel International is not responsible for costs related to cancellations after our cut-off date.

Allow 60 days for a refund as suggested by Celestyal. In the event that you made a deposit more than 60 days from time of cancellation, a company check will be issued in lieu of a credit refund.

No refund on any unused portions of the trip. After domestic airline tickets are issued, airline cancellation penalties are per the airline’s policy- usually no refund, but may be changeable with a fee and the difference of the new ticket cost. Travel insurance is recommended; carefully consider the purchasing of this important part of your travel.

*When the cruise is cancelled by the cruise line, you will generally be offered a full refund or the option to move your reservation to another date without penalty. All changes are subject to current terms and conditions at the time of cancellation. Your team at Singles Travel International will advocate for you in all cases.

Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. Our “Baby Boomer” vacations cater to singles in their 50s and 60s but you will often meet singles ranging anywhere from 45-75. We generally have a ratio of 60/40, women to men. As a travel club, matchmaking is not our focus. Ages listed on our page are not restricted. They are simply used as a guideline. We offer an opportunity for single travelers to see the world in the company of other singles and do not guarantee ratios or ages.

In order to accommodate singles from all over the world, our tours and cruises are priced as land/cruise only. Therefore, airfare is additional. Singles Travel International is a licensed ticketing agency and oftentimes has low negotiated fares.

If you plan to arrange your own flights, make sure to arrive to arrive at the Athens Airport (ATH) by 4:00 p.m. on July 15, 2022, in order to participate in our singles-only meet-and-greet and optional dinner. Your departure flight should depart after 1:00 p.m. on July 23, 2022, from the Athens Airport (ATH).

If you are taking the 2 Day Pre Package in Athens or the 1 Night Post Package in Piraeus, you can arrive at any time on July 14 and depart at any time on July 24 from Athens Airport (ATH).

Transportation between the airport and hotel is not included in the price. We would be happy to arrange round-trip transportation for you at an additional rate (subject to increase at any time before final payment is made) in Athens.

Our cruise does not include airfare, transfers in Athens, Greece and extra hotel nights after the cruise. You are responsible for alcoholic beverages and meals off the Crystal, incidentals such as laundry and phone calls and gratuities to your Singles Travel International concierge ($15 per day).

Medical insurance is MANDATORY for all guests traveling aboard Celestyal cruise ships. A quote will be sent to you after you make your reservation.

Your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the Crystal as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which may be paid with cash or charged to a credit card. If you are sharing with another guest, no worries. You will each receive a separate statement which may be reviewed at any time on your interactive TV in the cabin.

Note that Celestyal is a Greek company and, therefore, to avoid international fees imposed on your credit car, bring a card that does not charge international exchange fees.

We generally recommend $300-$500 to members based on their lifestyles. Most charges such as cocktails, excursions and and tips for the crew are able to be placed on your shipboard account and charged to your credit card. Allow for shopping in port and any off-ship dining.

Absolutely. Our site is so popular that we guarantee to find a roommate for you or the single cabin is on us! In order to take advantage of our offer, you must be paid in full by March 2, 2022. Guarantees are based on the lowest priced category. Upgrades are charged the full single rate less the lowest share credit if no equal match is found.

Of course, single cabins are available at an additional rate assessed by the cruise line. Even after the cut-off date, we get so many calls that finding a roommate is easy. So please let us know if you are interested when making your booking.

Our guarantee is based on the lowest, inside cabin share rate. If you opt for a higher category and we are unable to match in that category, you are responsible for the difference to move a member into your cabin to make a match. You may also opt to take your own cabin at that time for the single cabin rate. Assessments are made at final payment date: March 2, 2022.

Roommate matches are based on the same sex, general age range and smoking preference whenever possible, but not guaranteed. Singles Travel International reserves the right to make any match up until day of cruising, including roommate changes once onboard for members who select the Share & Save option.

We highly recommend that our guests contact their roommates in advance. Booked members have access to our private online chat. Meet your roommate as well as the other members on your vacation. Singles Travel International makes every effort to accommodate requests, but does not guarantee the satisfaction or success of a roommate match. It’s the responsibility of the guest to contact his/her roommate and ask the appropriate questions.

Optional pre and post cruise/tour stays are not eligible for the roommate match guarantee. Chances are excellent that we’ll find you a match, but if no match is found by 30 days prior to departure, member pays the single supplement.

Please contact your preferred carrier directly to make your reservation. If Singles Travel International issues a promotional economy fare, granting of frequent flyer credit is entirely at the airline’s discretion. If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. You may need to submit these to the airline (not to Singles Travel International) to claim any credit allowed.

Summer is the best time to visit the Aegean Sea and the Greek islands! Temperatures are typically in the mid-to-high 80s, and rain is a rarity. This sunny weather ensures that we can swim in the sea, wear our summer clothes and see the whitewashed houses the way they were supposed to be viewed! Typically, the islands are a little cooler than Athens is.
