Gia sou! (hi) I’m Tatialena from Athens. Let’s explore the capital of Greece, the birthplace of Western Civilization full of history, myths, and local stories.

We’ll start in Athens’ center on Syntagma Square, where the Greek parliament is located. Then we’ll have a walk through the most famous street of Athens, Ermou Street.

I’ll share how a typical Greek spends his time in the city. You’ll see how “gyros” is made, a typical Greek fast food, and other snacks that we enjoy here.

We’ll stroll around the Psyrri neighborhood, and you’ll hear stories behind this old “ghetto” area of Athens.

We’ll visit one of the most expensive and beautiful neighborhoods in the city called “Anafiotika”. People from Anafi wanted to build an area that brings their island back in their minds, and this is how this area was constructed. You’ll get a feeling like you’re on an island of Cyclades.

Last but not least, I’ll share the secret of the most famous Greek sauce, and you’ll learn how to make it.
