ROME - We embark on a full day excursion to the “eternal city”, Rome. Enjoy a half-day guided tour of Rome including such landmarks as the Coliseum, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Spanish Steps. After lunch on our own, our guided tour continues with a walking tour of the Roman Squares.

TUSCAN COOKING CLASS - Three hour “ Tuscan Cooking Class” where we will learn the basics of traditional Tuscan cooking as well as savor the foods prepared by you.

SIENA & SAN GIMIGNANO - Discover the countryside of the Chianti region, with ever changing scenery of vineyards and olive trees on our tour of San Gimignano, a tiny city that has remained intact through the centuries. The city is situated on top of a hill and is famous for its numerous towers, frescoes and other art treasures. Siena, a magnificent medieval city featuring Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, is also known for the famous regional horse race, Il Palio.

At the time of introduction of this tour, we have committed to having a concierge on site. In the rare event that there are less than 20 guests, a frequent traveler of STI will serve as "ambassador" for the first day's activities in lieu of our travel concierge. In all cases, a professional local tour director will be with the group throughout the tour.
