About Jazz & Wine Lovers French River Cruise

STI has taken the best way to see Europe, aboard an intimate and luxurious river vessel that gives us “up close and personal” access not only to the most famous historic sights, but also the smaller towns and villages along the way. Our unique cruise not only winds its way through what many consider the mecca for wine lovers, but includes the Vienne Jazz Festival, an annual event on the European and World Jazz scenes and a special Jazz concert in the Théâtre Antique. On board our ship, the majestic Avalon Scenery, we’ll also enjoy a Jazz Manouche (Gypsy Jazz) music lecture and concert as we cruise along the Rhône and Saône Rivers.

Special wine tastings will show us what to look for in a good wine—from color and bouquet to “legs” and finish.

Guided sightseeing acquaints us with Paris and Nice, while a deluxe 7-night cruise along the Saône and Rhône Rivers takes us into the heart of this beautiful country.
