Also, see the former capital of the Inca Empire “Cuzco” and experience the blend of Inca culture and Spanish colonial influence visible in the Cathedrals and the Indian ruins. Travel thru the “Sacred Valley” and enjoy spectacular views of mountain scenery, charming Inca villages and countryside. See the culture and lifestyle of the modern Andean people during a visit to Ollantaytambo and enjoy the opportunity to interact with the locals and gain insight into their day-to-day life.
Inclusive Features of Our Tour:
Cuzco – see city landmarks, ruins of Kenko, Puca-pucara, Tambomachay, and Sacsayhuaman fortress.
Cuzco - Visit the Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church and the Plaza de Armas.
Pisac – Morning drive through countryside, visit Peruvian market place.
Ollantaytambo – Visit to impressive Inca ruins.
Machu Picchu via Aguas Calientas – by way of train ride, includes entrance to Machu Picchu and 2 hour tour
Puerto Maldonado/Rainforest/Jungle Experience – Visit Inkaterra Butterfly House, siesta tea time, guided walk along trail system in the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica natural area, and twilight river excursion.
Sandoval Lake excursion into the Tambopata National Reserve, take the Inkaterra Canopy Walk, 45 minute boat ride to Gamitana Creek, see Gamitana Farm with a short guided tour to see how local farmers raise fruits and vegetables.
